Instant Foxtail Millet Noodles
Three ingredients. Ready in under six minutes.
An instant noodle cake made from three things: sprouted foxtail millet flour, arrowroot flour and guar gum. No maida, no preservatives, no artificial colours, no added MSG.
It behaves the way an instant noodle should — four to six minutes in boiling water with the taste maker, and it is done — but it is built on a sprouted millet base rather than refined wheat.
The obvious weeknight pack, and the one to keep in a hostel room or an office drawer.
Ingredients
Sprouted Foxtail Millet Flour, Arrowroot Flour, Guar Gum Powder.
No maida. No artificial additives. No preservatives.
How to use
1. Bring 900 ml of water to a rolling boil.
2. Open the taste maker sachet and empty it into the boiling water.
3. Break the 60 g noodle cake in half — or leave it whole — and drop it in.
4. Cook for 4–6 minutes until soft, then transfer to a bowl while still slightly saucy.
To make more of it: sauté chopped garlic, onion and green chilli in a tablespoon of oil before adding the water. Add peas, carrot or capsicum with a protein of your choice for a complete meal.
