Terms of service

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our privacy policy, refund policy and shipping policy.

Who we are

TrooFoodz is a curated food brand based in Belagavi, Karnataka, India. We select and sell sprouted grain and legume food products. We do not farm, mill or manufacture these products ourselves; we source them from producers we have chosen and sell them under the TrooFoodz name.

We are registered with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India as a wholesaler and retailer under FSSAI Registration No. 21226017000741.

Products and information

We try to describe every product accurately, including its ingredients, weight and nutritional information as declared by the producer. Colours may vary between your screen and the product. Because these are agricultural products, natural variation in colour, texture and aroma between batches is normal and is not a defect.

Nutritional values shown are typical values supplied by the producer and are subject to natural variation. Nothing on this website is medical or dietary advice. If you have a medical condition, an allergy, or a specific dietary requirement, please consult a qualified professional and read the pack label before consuming.

Allergens

Please read the allergen information on each product page and on the physical pack. If you have a serious allergy and any information is unclear, contact us at hello@troofoodz.in before ordering rather than after.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Shipping is charged separately as set out in our shipping policy. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed and paid for.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example where a product is unavailable, where a price or description was published in error, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a shipping confirmation. Receiving an order confirmation email does not by itself mean we have accepted your order.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not use this website to do anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, or to resell our products as your own without a written agreement with us.

Intellectual property

The TrooFoodz name and logo, and the photography, recipes and written content on this site, belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to share and link to our recipes. Please do not republish them wholesale, or use our images or brand for commercial purposes, without asking us first.

Recipes

Our recipes are offered in good faith for home cooking. Cooking involves heat, knives and equipment, and outcomes vary with ingredients, altitude and appliances. Please use your own judgement, particularly around cooking food thoroughly and handling hot oil.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Belagavi, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
